RX8 Flooding

Just wanted to mention that even when you have the latest flashes, and try not to turn the car off cold (When forced, reving it for 10 secs at 3,000 rpm before pulling the key), you can still have issues.

This weekend exactly that happened to me, the first time I've had a flooding issue in the 2 years I've owned the car.

Ironic since I was about to bring it to the dealership for the upgraded starter/batt.

Car flooded, couldn't start up, the choke method didn't help. Had to get it towed.

um so did you have to do anything to get it to start or just wait for like 5 hours?

same thing happened to me.truthfullly never turn your rotary off till it is warm or your looking for trouble.
